To Know Christ and To Make Him Known

Nursery Health Policy

Nursery Health Policy

In consideration of others, please do not bring sick children to the nursery. If your child has displayed any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours please do not leave him/her in the nursery:
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Fever (100 degrees or higher)
  • Runny nose (anything but clear)
  • Open sores
  • Consistent coughing
  • Contagious diseases or head lice
  • undiagnosed rash
  • eye infection (pinkeye or any discharge in or around the eyes)

If a child has a clearly discernible cold, rash, or fever, we will not accept the child into the nursery that day.
We will page you to return immediately to the nursery if your child becomes ill or injured during the morning.
Please contact us if a child who has been in our nursery contracts a communicable disease so that we can notify the families of the other children who were in the nursery with the sick child.

All medications must be administered by parents – nursery workers are not allowed to give medication to any child.
